The Audit Bureau took part in the international seminar organized by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), the training arm of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), under the theme “Leading Supreme Audit Institutions in a Global Context.” The event was held in Casablanca, Morocco.
The three-day seminar brought together leaders of supreme audit institutions from around the world, as well as experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in addition to several international institutions and academic institutes.
Dr. Radhi Al-Hamadeen, President of the Audit Bureau, stated that the Bureau’s participation in this seminar comes within the framework of the Mastery Program, which aims to develop the leadership capacities of audit institutions and strengthen their role in addressing global challenges.
Al Hamadeen added that the seminar addressed several key issues, most notably: combating corruption, enhancing transparency and accountability, public finance reforms in the Arab world, the impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence on audit work, as well as climate change and the management of green public finance.
