The Audit Bureau Hosts the President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC)

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the technical capabilities of audit professionals and promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise in line with international best practices, the Audit Bureau hosted Mr. Jean Bouquot, President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), who delivered a lecture titled:

"The Importance of Implementing Accrual-Based International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)."

The event was attended by a group of participants, including representatives from governmental and oversight bodies, academic institutions, and professional associations, in addition to a number of auditors from the Audit Bureau.

A governmental delegation from the sisterly State of Palestine also attended the session as part of an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
